As a breast cancer surgeon who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 37, Dr. Curcio knows firsthand how overwhelming the diagnosis and treatment information can be.

Getting a second opinion will not offend your doctor! Many patients feel requesting a second opinion was may be offensive or represent a lack of confidence in their doctors. Dr. Curcio does not believe this to be the case and recommends that patients secure a second opinion.
