  We pride ourselves in providing excellent care to our patients at all times. We believe that while focusing on the unique issues surrounding breast health and care, we are able attain the highest level of knowledge and expertise in this area. Our staff and care providers are constantly pursuing education on cutting edge technologies in breast health and care. This allows us to offer our patients a level of expertise that is not uniformly available in other practices. We also use patient input about our services to constantly monitor and optimize the experience we offer.

• Education
   
  Education starts at your first visit and continues throughout the duration of your care at Advanced Breast Care Specialists of Orange County. This may be as simple as how to perform a breast self examination to more complex issues related to abnormal breast symptoms or understanding a breast cancer diagnosis. Any concern related to your breast is an emotional issue that generates both fear and concern. We firmly believe that knowledge is power and knowing what is going on in your body and why it is occurring can help to alleviate many of these concerns. Our role as educators goes hand in hand with our role as health care professionals, and we pride ourselves in being current and up to date in cutting edge technology and optimal care for our patients.
   
   

• Empowerment
  
  The definition of empowerment is to give power or authority. This goes hand in hand with education. As one understands what is going on with their breast health, they become more active and even proactive participants in their health overall. This education and empowerment leads to a partnership with your breast care specialist and allows you to become an active participant and claim responsibility for your breast care. This becomes a winning situation for all involved. This empowerment pertains to the spectrum of issues that may take you to the care of a breast specialist from breast pain to breast cancer diagnosis.
   
   

• Emotional Well Being
   
  If we make the treatment worse than the problem, what have we really done?
   
  This is a common issue that as health care professionals we have to ask ourselves over and over again. Our philosophy underscores that we never treat anyone in a vacuum and until we understand the person, where they are coming from, and where they are going, we cannot begin to help them. If we cure the body but not the soul, are we any better off?
   
  Part of our philosophy at Advanced Breast Care Specialists of Orange County is to consider the patient within the context of her own emotional milieu and to help them to tailor a treatment that is right for them medically and emotionally.
