Estela Riela,

Dr. Curcio
as follows:
"I feel
very honored to be able to present
Dr. Lisa
Curcio to you. I have blessed to have her as my
doctor in my long and still difficult journey. Even though
there are many good surgeons,
Dr. Curcio
stands out as one of the best. She is a master with the
scalpel and she is a master of wisdom and compassion.
"Being a
survivor herself, she knows exactly how you feel. She feels
your pain; she understands your inner fears. She gives you
advice not just as a doctor but as a friend. She helps
you fight with grace! You walk into her office and you are
welcomed by the fragrance of freshly cut flowers, soft music
and soothing colors of lavender and green.
"You are
handed a silky robe and she has many in different colors.
Dr.
Curcio
walks into the exam room, she greets you with her warm
smile, she hugs you and you know that you are in the best
hands and that you will have the best care.
"You can
call
Dr.
Curcio on a Sunday evening and she answers the
phone. You can hear her children in the background. She
manages to be there for you even when she is spending
precious time with her family. "Dr.
Curcio
scolds a nurse in the hospital because her patient’s
hospital gown has not been changed.
"The fight
against breast cancer is a very long and strenuous battle.
You need to be a great warrior. You need to fight with
faith, courage and you can do it all with grace. "You need
to have a great army. My army is an army of angels. My
angels are my family, my doctors and my friends. We have a
great commander-in-chief. His name is God.
Dr. Lisa
Curcio
thank you for being one of my most valuable angels.”
