Dr. Curcio and staff have a fantastic mixture to caring compassion and business like drive. They are all dedicated to helping women prevent and/or cure breast cancer. Having had breast cancer herself, Dr. Curcio is uniquely qualified to help and councel her patients. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Curcio to anyone.  Caroline K.

You rarely have to wait more than a few minutes to see Dr. Curcio, but she never seems rushed and always has time to answer all of your questions. She's very thorough and genuinely cares about her patients' well being.

Dr. has been excellent and totally reachable by email every day with good, specific answers to questions. I recommend her very highly. Rosemary B.

Dr. Curcio is an amazing physician and I feel fortunate that she is my care provider. She's straightforward, professional, and objective. When nurses and other MDs praise your doctor, you know you're in good hands. Her practice uses technology to educate and communicate with patients more effectively. How many doctors respond to patient questions via email, not to mention, at 4:00, 4:30 am? And all of her referrals, from the plastic surgeon, to the radiologist, to the oncologist, have been competent and compassionate. Dr. Curcio is very, very busy, so be prepared to sometimes wait an hour. And a few of the office staff are not so good, but sadly I find that to be true in many doctor's offices these days. You will be in good hands with Dr. Curcio.  Judith F.

I was, and still am, scared about my breast cancer. But I feel better, in part, because Dr. Curcio has been so kind and helpful. The sentinel node biopsy procedure was easier than I thought it would be. If you need to have this procedure done, Dr. C and staff will help make things easy for you.

December 2011

From the moment I discovered a lump in my breast nothing in my life has been the same. I was suddenly getting lots of tests, and lots of doctor appointments and everyone was telling me about someone they know wand what they did…it’s too much. And you want to think you are someone specials but you find out that breast cancer is unbelievably common and you’re just another woman facing this diagnosis. But Dr. Curcio and everyone in her amazing staff made me feel grounded…they knew my name when I came in and they answer the phone when you call with a question.  And while I felt bombarded with information-they helped me process the information so that I could make the best informed decision for me. It’s not like when you get a sore throat and the doctor’s says-take this prescription for a week. You get to choose from a lousy smorgasbord of choices. Once I saw all the referrals and got a better picture of my choices, I felt the decision I chose was the smartest and best decision. I received honest answers, really good referrals, and I feel I am in good hands. That is the most comforting and I am glad to have this opportunity to express these feelings and thank all the wonderful women – Erica, Julie, Lisa, and gosh…the gal who helped me with the bras today—I don’t know her name – but she was so great too. I am praying every day that next week when I have surgery, my lymph noses will be clear and I can look forward to the new perky boobs I will get.  Too much info there, huh?   Mindy S.

November 2010

Dear Dr. Curcio,
God is in control of this journey I’m on and there is a purpose, I know. Two come to mind, drawing closer to the Lord and helping other women in this situation, maybe a career change for me. Dr. Curcio, you are also part of this journey with me, by no accident I’m sure.  Your name was in my hand from a friend within two hours of finding out my diagnosis.

I had a good feeling about you from the first time we met. You struck me as a very caring, talented and knowledgeable surgeon; all these things I have come to know are true about you! You were especially compassionate the day of my surgery, as you sat next to me tenderly rubbing my arm, you knew firsthand what I was going through, I was thinking at the time how lucky I was to be getting this healing touch from a women who understood and she was also my surgeon.

Thank you for being there for me in that way! I feel a close bond to you, I think it would be hard not to. I also want to thank you for spending the time in the office and online talking over whatever thoughts and concerns I have had.  Your office staff has been kind to me as well and I so appreciate all the services you offer.  I’m especially enjoying Karen and the physical therapy.    Bless you! With Love, Lori

Dear Dr. Lisa Curcio and Staff:

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank you for all that you have done for me and continue to assist me with in my challenge of life.  Caring, compassion, and the know how gives me the courage and strength to carry on.  Once again thank you.  As always, Rose Marie

July 14, 2010

Dear Dr. Curcio,
I'm writing to you on behalf of my wife, Che Suk, and offer my own thoughts to you. When we met in your office in early June, I believe we were the most frighten couple on earth. We were lost and bewildered and most of all terrified. What you might have to say to us about Che Suk's condition and prognosis.  It is was one of the few times in my life when I felt that I had no control, no input, and was totally vulnerable.

From the first words and sounds you swept away our fear and uncertainties.  You were strong and reassuring and from that moment we knew that whatever the outcome you were going to be with us and bringing all your talent and skills.

That continued until you came to me in the waiting room...I recall looking at your face and waiting for your voice. Whe you told me the outcome, I could feel the release and the smile on my face and I don't know if I hugged you then, but I have hugged you hundreds of times since. I realize that too many of your after surgery conferences aren't as hopeful as the one we had.  I know we were fortunate to have found this so early and that your skills  helped us get through this with a look to the future.

One could never hope for a more skillful physician and coupled with your strength and compassion we have gotten through. A simple thank you seems inadequate, but that is totally all we can do.  Thank you and God bless you and may you always have the health, the skill, and the talent to long care for many in the future.   Sincerely, Chuck
